The Belch family has been in the construction business in the Quinte Region for over seventy years.

Tom's father, William Sr., started William Belch & Sons Building Contractors from his home in 1947 and expanded to operate from a facility on Albion Street in Belleville. That facility remains in operation today as one of the main shop and warehouses for Tom Belch & Sons Building Contractors Limited.

Tom Belch & Bonnie Belch purchased William Belch & Sons Building Contractors from Tom’s father in 1977 and, along with Tom's older brother, William Belch Jr., operated William Belch & Sons from 1977 until 2000 when William Jr. had decided to retire.

Tom Belch, President, and Bonnie Belch, Vice-President, formed the current Tom Belch and Sons Building Contractors Limited in 2000, an evolution of the previous business.

Employees are a key asset necessary to provide outstanding customer satisfaction by delivering successful, high quality projects, on time and on budget. Tom and the management team have outstanding employee loyalty with several employees with over forty years of experience working for Tom Belch. This depth of experience and knowledge is a significant attribute for providing customer service and satisfaction.

Tom Belch and Sons is committed to continuous process improvement and business development. Strategic plans, succession planning and training are being regularly reviewed and updated to meet the evolving technology, industry standards and customer expectations

In the summer of 2017, Tom Belch & Sons has purchased and installed a state-of-the-art CNC router. This piece of equipment is able to shape and cut wood, plastics and non-ferrous metals. Tom Belch and Sons is uniquely positioned to provide customers with short lead time custom cabinetry and fixtures.

The core management team includes Tom Belch GSC, Bonnie Belch and sons Brad Belch B.A., Civil Tech. Brian Belch Arch Tech and Brians wife Stephanie Belch, Civil Tech . Brian, Brad and Stephanie are assuming ever increasing leadership responsibilities within the management team to assure continuity of the customer focused performance established by Tom and Bonnie.
